Werri Beach is the beach of Gerringong. We think it's the most beautiful place in the world, with natural wonders all around.

The town of Gerringong is a short drive from the house where you'll find great shops, cafes and a well stocked IGA supermarket.

Things to Do

Enjoy the beach at Werri, there's lots of sand to play on across the road, the lagoon at the north end is great for a paddle, walk around the rocks on the south end to Boat Harbour and have a swim in the rock pool. Gerroa is a short drive away, and is great for swimming, learning to surf, fishing, walking....  

If you like fishing, there are a number of great fishing spots nearby. We have the best success on the beach straight across the road!

Go Golfing at many of our local courses.

Visit our local wineries and enjoy lunch at a few of them. The Shoalhaven Winter Wine Festival is on every year on the June long weekend.

The Kiama Coastal Walking Track starts on the bike track straight across the road, which ends at Minnamurra, 20km away. Do all of it, or just some - the coastline is spectacular and you might see whales, dolphins, sea eagles, try great swimming spots, take a picnic and have an unforgettable experience.

Visit Minnamurra Rainforest and get back to nature.

For a bird's eye view of the area, visit the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk, about 30 mins from Gerringong.
